On a cold winter day, I love to make a big pot of chicken stock. It not only makes the house smell great, but I also have good homemade stock for Chicken Pot Pie Soup or Winter Minestrone. Nothing in a can tastes as good! You can store stock in quarts or half quarts for up to 4 months in the freezer.
