Holiday Flowers

Thursday, December 10, 2015

Why do people only think of evergreens, holly, and bright red amaryllis as holiday flowers? I like to make arrangements that use a less traditional mix: red tinged hydrangeas, white roses and ranunculus, red anemones, plus lots of lime green hydrangeas and leaves to set them off- with red hypericum berries for a hit of deep red! The colors are traditional but the flowers are really interesting and they look as festive for New Year’s as they do for Christmas!  I hope your holiday is filled with lots of gorgeous flowers!
