On a cold winter day, the only thing more comforting than tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich is my Easy Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons!  This is no ordinary tomato soup. Made with homemade chicken stock and a hint of saffron, and thickened with orzo pasta, it’s rich and so flavorful. The croutons on top are crunchy and cheesy- perfect for dunking into the hot soup. These are old-fashioned flavors updated for a totally satisfying lunch or dinner… I could eat some right about now!
