My friend Alex Crowder came to visit me with this gorgeous bouquet!

Alex's company Field Studies Flora makes amazing floral arrangements from foraged and locally sourced flowers that are beyond inspiring, including seed pods, edible greens, and branches with autumn leaves. I met Alex when she was designing the flowers for the design store Roman and Williams Guild in NYC. It sounds like it would be easy to go into the woods and find natural materials for a beautiful arrangement but I've tried it and trust me, it's really hard! 🍁🌿🌼🌹
